Trading

We are physical traders; we buy, transport, store, blend and deliver oil internationally.

TODEM Energy primarily trades crude oil and its full array of related products. However, we are also flexible enough to deal in more specialised offerings - such as petrochemical - when the opportunity arises. 

Crude oil

The Group entered the oil trading market in the Mediterranean in 2022 and has since expanded its reach, trading in Libyan, Iraqi, Egyptian and Saudi crude. Our team trades crude on term and spot contracts with a focus on established markets in regions including the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Far East. 

We trade in both sour and sweet grades. They are sourced against term supply contracts or on spot basis, and offered to refineries against tenders or on direct sales, processing or product buyback arrangements.

Gasoline and Naphtha

TODEM Energy is the largest trader of gasoline in the Mediterranean with a large downstream system capacity in the Eastern Mediterranean. In addition, we act as a swing supplier for the African, Arabian Gulf and Mediterranean markets. We trade more than two million tonnes of gasoline and naptha each year in addition to gasoline components and other specialized products.

Gasoil and Jet

TODEM Energy's global network of middle distillates comprises of a wide range of products, most prominently jet, kerosene, diesel and heating oil. Our operations in these products are global and we use our storage and logistics for blending and optimising timely deliveries to fulfil customer requirements. 

Fuel Oil

The Group has been a key player in fuel oil in the Mediterranean region since 1972. Our trading activities have increased in the Eastern Mediterranean and trading opportunities have further expanded through term supplies in various geographical regions. TODEM Energy has mainly sourced from the Americas, Red Sea, the Arab Gulf and the Indian sub-continent regions, depending on arbitrage opportunities. 

Bitumen

TODEM Energy is rapidly becoming a key player in the trading, transportation and production of bitumen in the Mediterranean, Africa and the Arab Gulf. Bridging the gap between the demand markets and suppliers, TODEM Energy has formed strong partnerships with both and continues to expand our activity in this area.   

LNG

TODEM has developed a LNG trading desk with a dedicated team of experienced professionals and entered into a number of MSA's with leading international and national LNG producers and suppliers.

LPG

TODEM started trading LPG in July 2022, supplying from Russia and Qatar.

Additional Products

We trade all the components of the barrel, as well as specialised oil products and gas, to meet our clients' needs.
